There are those that utilise synthetic substances, chemical additives. Even genetically modified plant extracts. Those that use active principles of animal origin or purified organ extracts. Those that test using animals. Those that do not carry out tests at all. And then there are natural cosmetics. Vegetable-based. Those with a certain percentage of plant extracts. Those using essential oils. Vegetable oils. Maybe without bothering too much about all the other components in the formula, or the quality of the extracts, their purity, whether or not the oils contain chemical residues, heavy metals or pesticides.

plant, often justifying themselves with the use of essential oils, almost
always of Western origin. Reminiscent of an ayurvedic emotion lacking any

| The Divya Ayurvedic Cosmetic
range uses dried extracts from selected
ayurvedic plants, obtained using only alcohol and water as extraction
solvents. Vegetable oils obtained using exclusively cold-pressing
methods. Ecologic emulsifying agents that do not irritate the skin.
Natural, specific, highly functional active principle compounds. Safe
preserving agents used with food products. Substances. 5 vegetable oils obtained through pressing and free of chemical residues. 18 dried extracts of selected ayurvedic medicinal plants, free of chemical impurities. 5 natural highly functional active principle compounds. VATA DOSHA PRODUCTS. The products in the Vata Dosha line share a number of functions directed at moisturizing and nourishing the skin and leaving it firm and supple. The body products exert a gentle are warming function, whereas the face products have a particularly effective, emollient and nourishing action. Continuous use on Vata constitutions is recommended. They should used according to the season (autumn and beginning of winter) on combination constitutions including Vata. Their use is also recommended from time to time to treat aggravated Vata characterised by temporary manifestations such as dry skin. The products are specific for the treatment of Vata skin, which is cold, dry, dull, dehydrated, lacking in elasticity, with wrinkles. PITTA DOSHA PRODUCTS. The products of the line are differentiated to meet the two fundamental requirements of Pitta skin: on the one hand, the soothing action, on the other, the purifying action. The two ranges share the moisturizing action, but the products are specialized and enable the specific treatment of Pitta skin types that are hot, sensitive, irritated and prone to couperose, Pitta Dosha Soothing, and Pitta skin types that are hot yet impure, with blackheads and prone to acne, Pitta Dosha Purifying. Continuous use on Pitta constitutions is recommended. They should used according to the season (late spring and summer) on combination constitutions including Pitta. Their use is also recommended from time to time to treat aggravated Pitta characterised by temporary manifestations such as skin inflammation, couperose or acne. KAPHA DOSHA PRODUCTS. The Kapha Dosha products are above all stimulating, draining and slightly moisturizing. The products for the body differ from those used on the face in that the first must be, above all, stimulating and warming, whereas the second require a draining, moisturizing and mildly stimulating action. Continuous use on Kapha constitutions is recommended. They should used according to the season (winter and beginning of spring) on combination constitutions including Kapha. Their use is also recommended from time to time to treat aggravated Kapha characterised by temporary manifestations such as water retention, edemas, swelling and fat deposits. The products are specific for the treatment of Kapha skin that is cold, damp, edematous, and prone to water retention and to fat deposits. TRIDOSHA LINE. We have called this line Tridosha, currently including two products suitable for all the Doshas: Hair Oil and After-Shave Gel. Ideally they belong to the Pitta Dosha Line, their components producing a soothing, nourishing and rebalancing action, yet they are recommended for all constitutions. |
